This is one of my most favorite love songs ever; well, make that unrequited love. She's got this friend, see, and, well, she's got a huge crush on him. She's not going to make the first move, because what if he doesn't feel the same? What if she ruins everything? No, she will never ever to be the first to say it, unless he's a little bit in love with her.
But beautiful nonetheless. According to one of my favorite books, nothing begins with so much excitement and hope and pleasure as love. It's an exciting time.
